So now where do they go? What do they do? the United Rehablitation Services facilities in Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton and Tunkhannock received word that they must close their doors for good on June 18th. The URS gives clients, who have disabilities, the opportunity to be productive members of the work force. There are about 300 clients in Northeastern Pennsylvania. They...and about 50 employees....now face an uncertain future. The facilities have to close because adequate funding is no longer available.
