Auto racing fans will have an easier trip to the track at Pocono after traffic flow improvements are completed. Governor Tom Corbett announced funding for the work, as he helped kick off the 2014 season. Five million dollars in transportation infrastructure funds have been awarded to widen roads and improve traffic flow to and from Pocono Raceway. Corbett joined NASCAR and INDYCAR officials at the track to make the announcement, touting the tourism benefits of the raceway. The work includes widening of Route 115. The road will stay open while construction is underway.
