Scranton's Parking Plan

The weekend weather is expected to start delivering plowable snow on Sunday with even greater amounts arriving on Monday. At this point the call is for things to quiet down by Monday afternoon. Mayor Bill Courtright, of Scranton, is making plans for Monday night. He hopes to have the cleanup begin then and he would like motorists to refrain from parking in the downtown Monday night.  He tells WILK's Sue Henry that they want to talk with the Parking Authority to see if the garages can be open for discounted....or even free...parking get the cars off the streets Monday night.
