In part of Scranton and some neighboring areas it was water, water everywhere...but not a drop to drink. Or in the sink. Pennsylvania American crews are ready for the long haul as they work to fix a broken 36-incher on River Street in South Scranton. Thousands of customers have to prepare for that haul throughout the weekend with no water or low pressure. Newly-minted mayor of Scranton Bill Courtright is getting a figurative trial by fire in his opening weeks as the city's chief executive. He hopes it remains "figurative"...but his city is ready for firefighting duties.
