The Pa. State Police are acting on numerous tips and intensifying their search of the northern Monroe Co/Pike Co area looking for suspected killer Eric Frein. Gov. Tom Corbett announced that progress is being made, and Lt. Col. George Bivens of the PSP says hundreds are now in the search and they are 'close to him'. A suspended Catholic priest who is free on bail has entered a guilty plea. WNEP reports that the Lackawanna County D-A's office says Reverand Jeffery Paulish pleaded guilty to a single felony count of corruption of minors. He had been the assistant pastor at Prince of Peace parish in Old Forge as well as other parishes. Paulish was accused of engaging in a sex act with a 15 year old boy in a car parked in a lot on the Penn State/Worthington campus in dunmore last September.
