Governor Tom Corbett won't change his stance against the use of medical marijuana without federal testing and recommendations. As a bill sits in the state Senate to legalize the use of medicinal marijuana, Governor Tom Corbett says he will stand opposed, until or unless the Federal Drug Administration proves it's safe and effective. While the Governor says recreational use won't happen in Pennsylvania, he might get behind the use of medicinal marijuana oil, if the FDA were to test and approve. Also, the Governor says he hasn't seen proof that recreational marijuana is not a gateway drug.
