Nothing. That pretty much sums up what the Loveland family has left after flames turned their two-story log home into a bonfire yesterday. Firefighters had trouble getting up the icy road to the scene of the blaze at 999 Bennett Street in Luzerne late yesterday morning. Getting water to the fire was a huge problem. A hose network ran thousands of feet from the nearest hydrant. 76 year old Aron Loveland says the possessions he cherished most are gone. He says his dogs did not get out of the house. Loveland, his wife Diane and son Shane were not home when the fire broke out.
