Seasons Arrive In Scranton

The warmth of the holiday season invaded Scranton in a couple of ways yesterday. Thanksgiving was observed for the 37 year with feasting provided by the volunteers at the Friends Of THE Poor Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Scranton Cultural Center. Not far away it was the sights and sounds of Christmas as the Candadian Pacific Railway Holiday train made a stop at Steamtown...the first stop on it's country-wide tour. Food items were dropped off at the site and the railway presented a 45-hundred dollar donation check to the United Neighborhood Centers Of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
