The way suspended Old Forge Police Chief Larry Semenza has it figured it looks like it was a 15 year old girl concluding that his behavior toward her was romance. But Semenza testified at his Lackawanna County trial that he acted as a mentor - like a little league coach - while she was a junior firefighter. And the gifts he gave her weren't linked to romance, they were in recognition of her efforts. Semenza was emphatic when asked if the relationship included kissing and touching; he said "no, never." He'll be back on the stand today for cross examination with jury perhaps getting the case later today.
