An Electrifying Experience

The massive thunderstorm system that swept across a good part of Northeastern Pennsylvania yesterday delivered plenty of lightning strikes....and not all of them were harmless. WNEP reports this morning that a 55 year old woman was struck while guiding traffic away from a flooded section of Boulevard Avenue in Scranton. She's in stable condition. A man was a treated after being injured on Dana Street in Forty Fort. And a 15 year old boy had a real close call in Larksville. He was close to the spot where a bolt slammed into the ground on Luzerne  Avenue.
