Kids are heading back to classrooms across the state and that means its time to watch out for school buses and young pedestrians. While some schools will wait until after Labor Day, others have already opened their doors and more will be opening this week and next. That means drivers will have to stay alert in school zones and around bus stops. Craig Yetter of PennDOT says you must stop at least 10 feet from a school bus with its red lights flashing and stop armed extended. The only exception-- when you're approaching from the opposite side of a clearly divided highway.
