Luzerne County Controller Walter Griffith didn't have to put up any bucks for bail...the ten grand was unsecured. He was arraigned this morning on a trio of felony counts. The State Attorney General's Office alleged that Griffith illegally recorded a conference call involving five people...including Griffith, illegally recorded a Retirement Board meeting and illegally recorded a phone conversation with Y. Judd Shoval relative to CityVest..the owner of the Hotel Sterling in Wilkes-Barre. Shoval is member of the city vest board and he's filed a civil suit against Griffith.
