More Money for the Next Mayor of the Electric City

When Scranton City council meets tomorrow, it's expected they will be taking into consideration raising the salary of the next Mayor of the Electric City. Current Mayor Chris Doherty is proposing raising the salary from the current 50thousand to 80 thousand for the person who takes over the office in 2014. Doherty is not seeking re election. His term ends at the end of this year.
