There was bad blood between  Derrick Phillips, of Scranton, and Malik Carter of Harrisburg. In May of 2011 it turned into spilled blood in South Scranton. Phillips was charged with fatally shooting carter at the now-closed Finn McCool's. jury selection was set to begin in Lackawanna County Court for Phillips' homicide trial. Among the charges he faced were first and third degree murder. But that went away when he pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter. He's now looking a 6 and a half to 13 years.
