Fatal Fire Blamed on Careless Smoking

A State Police Fire Marshall has ruled a fatal fire last week in Old Forge, accidental. The blaze on Friday at 534 Fallon Street was caused by carelessly discarded smoking materials in the 2nd floor bathroom. The blaze claimed the life of 60 year old Joseph Casella. 57 year old James Casella escaped without injury.
