A tri fold "Hockey For Heroes" event was announced at the Coal Street Ice Rink in Wilkes Barre today. It's all spearheaded by former Wilkes Barre Administrator J.J. Murphy's "Giving Our Athletes Local Support" Foundation.  A free skate for children of past or present military, fire, police or emt personnel will be held this coming Sunday at Coal Street Rink. Also contact 208-7367 to find out about getting a grant or a reduction to get kids involved in figure skating or hockey lessons.
