For 125 years people have been going to Bartikowsky Jewelers to shop for fine jewelry, timepieces and other quality items. If you wish to do so, time is running out. The Times Leader reports that owners Max Bartikowsky and lLynn and Mac Ahmad have sold the business to an out-of-state group...no names yet. They will retain the building and the South Main Street, Wilkes -Barre property after next week's going-out-of-business sale. It's the contents, not the name, that is being offered. It's an invitation-only sale to start, then it opens to the general public on November 16th.
