A 52 year old Peckville man, who has had a previous brush with the law involving minors, is in trouble again. Former Scranton school director Mark Kandel, of Blythe Drive, has been accused of sending sexually-oriented pictures and messages to teen boys. a 16 and 17 year old were the focal point of the probe that led to arrest of Kandel on felony charges tied to kid porn. He's accused of one count of criminal solicitation and a count of communication with a minor-sexual abuse. In 2008 Kandel pleaded guilty to providing booze to minors. Television station WNEP acknowledges in it's version of the story that Kandel is the husband of the station's news anchor Marisa Burke.
