An 8 year old boy from Susquehanna County was killed Monday afternoon. Police report the Matthew Stahl and his father were outside around 5:30 pm outside a home in Franklin Twp, north of Montrose, when a falling tree struck the boy and killed him.
In Berks County, a 62 year old man died after a tree fell on a house in Pike Township. On Sunday, an elderly Lancaster County man was killed when he fell from a tree he was trimming in preparation of the storm.
