Musto Must Staned Trial

Federal Judge A. Richard Caputo says precautions will be taken when former state senator Ray Musto's corruption trial gets underway. The judge set jury selection to begin on November 26th. Musto is accused of fraud, bribery and lying to federal investigators. But since his retirement, and run-in with the feds, he has been hit with health problems. The defense says the the rigors of a trial could be fatal to the 83 year old. The prosecution says musto's frailness and inability to understand everything going on would inhibit his ability to prepare for the courtroom. But caputo says medical professionals will be nearby and the defendant will be given adequate rest breaks.
