Kingston Police say thanks to tips from the public they were able to find those allegedly involved in July vandalism and thefts at the Kingston Pool. Three teens were petitioned to juvenile court on numerous charges yesterday.
A Monday evening fire in Wilkes Barre left an apartment house on Horton Street heavily damaged. The family living there got out ok but lost everything and didn't have any insurance. Investigators have not yet been able to determine a cause.
Corruption charges were dismissed against 4 Exeter Township officials. The state attorney General's office now have 90 days if they decide to refile the charges against Richard Overman, James Douse, John Coolbaugh and Mary Martin.
Students in the Scranton School District are waiting to see if Thursday will be their first day of classes. Negotiations between the Scranton Federation of Teachers and the district will be underway once again today. Yesterday no progress was reported.
Police in Old Forge are looking for a hit and run driver. They believe a dark colored SUV was involved in the incident at South Main and Moosic Road Anyone with information is asked to contact Old Forge Police. The couple involved are expected to be ok.
