West Hazleton Volunteer Fire Co Investigation

State and local police raided  the West Hazleton volunteer fire company  as part of an investigation to account for $54,000 in expenses.  Investigators say they took documents, records stored on computers and computers during the raid.  Police secured a search warrant to take financial records of the volunteer fire company, the  paid fire department and the borough fire relief association.  A report by the state Auditor General found unaccounted expenses. No charges have been filed
