Investigation Launched


You heard it on WILKNewsradio from Sue Henry earlier today. Officials at Wyoming Seminary in Kingston have acknowledged Kingston Police are investigating a faculty member for questionable behavior on a video sharing site.

Yuknavich Agrees to Guilty Plea


According to a plea agreement with federal prosecutors, Wilkes Barre Township Fire Chief John Yuknavich has agreed to plead guilty to stealing from the department. No word yet on what his sentence would be, he faces up to 10 years in prison.

More Money Woes


Pennsylvania's auditor general Eugene DePasquale is warning that Scranton's three municipal pension funds will run out of money to pay benefits in a few years and the city could be forced to declare bankruptcy within five years.

Draining Lake Jean


Replacing a dam control tower will require Lake Jean to be drained beginning next spring. The popular swimming spot at Ricketts Glen State Park will remain drained about a year to complete the 800 thousand dollar project.

Back To School Time
