It may take months before human remains found in Newport Township over the weekend are identified. DNA is being sent to a lab in Texas and that could take 3 to 6 months before it's returned. PA State Police are however currently reviewing missing persons files for any possible information leading to an id. The skull was found off Alden Mountain Road on Saturday. No other remains have been discovered after a search of the area.
