High Bid for Audubon School

Audubon Elementary School will soon have a new owner. Geisinger Community Medical Center purchased the building with a bid of 750thousand dollars. The school is across the street from the hospital facility near Nay Aug Park in Scranton and has been without students since mold was found in the building in 2010.  The medical facility has not released any specific plans for the site or whether it will be torn down or refurbished.
