The Pa. State Police are acting on numerous tips and intensifying their search of the northern Monroe Co/Pike Co area looking for suspected killer Eric Frein. Gov. Tom Corbett announced that progress is being made, and Lt. Col. George Bivens of the PSP says hundreds are now in the search and they are 'close to him'. Despite recent buzz in the media, the Governor isn't changing his mind on the use of medical marijuana in Pennsylvania. At least one proponent in the Senate isn't happy about it. A spokesman for Governor Tom Corbett says recent reports that the Governor might be softening his opposition to the use of medical marijuana are not accurate. Corbett was reported to be more agreeable, if the Food and Drug Administration were consider it legitimate medicine. Montgomery County Senator Daylin Leach, who sponsored a bill to legalize its use, says the Governor can make the medical marijuana decision on his own.
