The cause of a fatal fire at 1354 North Church Street in Hazle Township last night is under investigation. The Standard Speaker says a 47 year old woman was killed and a man was taken to the hospital.  The victims' names or the condition of the man were not available. The newspaper reports that firefightes called the blaze suspicious and at this point the state police consider the house a crime scene. It appears the fire started in the kitchen area.
