Scranton Police detectives now say 51 year old Robert Demcher of Scranton for holding up the Penn Star Bank on Meadow Ave this morning. He's also confessed to a robbery last night at the Turkey Hill in the 14hundred block of Mulberry Street.  According to arrest papers, Demcher told police he committed the crimes because he had recent financial hardships. He was arrested and charged with both by Scranton Police.
