A Pennsylvania lawmaker is trying again this session to ban nicotine products on school grounds.
Newer products are on the market that hide nicotine in mints, gum and even water.
Representative Deberah Kula wants to change that. Her bill, which has bipartisan support would make it a summary offense for students to have nicotine products on school property, including the school bus. A similar bill passed the house last session but failed to make it to the senate floor. The bill is now before the house judiciary committee.
