11th District Congressman Lou Barletta (R) voted to end the government shutdown and raise the debt ceiling. He joined a minority of Republicans who joined the Democrats in the House to pass it. 10th District Congressman Tom Marino (R) voted against it, as did Republican Senator Pat Toomey. It was no surprise that 17th District Congressman Matt Cartwright (D) and Senator Bob Casey (D) voted in favor.
