I-80 Crash Claims Life of New Jersey Man


Reports from the scene say a man from New Jersey died in the crash on I 80 Eastbound in Monroe County this morning. Investigators say the man was driving west in the east bound lane near Bartonsville when his vehicle struck a tractor trailer head on.

Another Budget Down To The Wire


Pennsylvania state lawmakers are trickling back into the Capitol for the final days of the state government's fiscal year as budget negotiators try to produce a budget package that Gov.Tom Wolf will sign. The 2016-17 fiscal year starts Friday. 

Drive by Shooting in Scranton


Scranton Police are still on the lookout for the person who fired shots at an apartment in the city's Hill Section over the weekend. Investigators say a drive by shooting injured a University of Scranton student at a house on Linden Street. 

Death Penalty Still Possible


A judge in Pike County did not remove the possibility of the death penalty in the case of Eric Frein. He's the man accused in the 2014 ambush at the State Police barracks at Blooming Grove.

Bradford County Deadly Shooting


An altercation between two brothers ended with one dead and the other facing a charge of criminal homicide. State Police at Towanda say, 51 year old Daryl Barnes Jr shot 46 year old Fred Barnes in the chest with a shot gun.
